- Hours for Applying are 8:30-4:00, Monday through Friday.
- Room 104, Snow Hill Court House, 1 West Market Street, Snow Hill, Maryland, 410-632-5500.
- Only one person needs to apply.
- The fee for a marriage license is $35.00. Cash only, checks will not be accepted.
- You will need a driver's license or birth certificate for the bride and groom. No blood test is required. You w ill need to show your social security number.
- You must be married in Worcester County.
- License is valid for six months from the date of issue.
- You must wait until 6:00 am on the second calendar day after you apply for the license before you can be married.
- If either party is divorced, you must have proper documentation that is signed by a judge .
- If either party has a deceased spouse, you will need the death certificate.
- If either party is under 18 years of age, please call for further information.
- You may apply by mail if you are from out of state but this is not encouraged as it may take up to six months to complete the procedure.
